Jungle Blue (Vinegar Syndrome DVD) - Let's Go to the Zoo and Watch the Monkeys Do It

Jungle X Rated feature. Well that means either we have a cannibal film from Europe featuring the finest of naked women being stripped down by savages and being forced to commit unspeakable acts while having meat hooks stuck through their boobies OR... we get to watch a gorilla get a blow job in the middle of the jungle. Jungle Blue is a truly funny and exciting romp through the wilderness. While it isn't always on point, it has moments where it really exemplifies the sex comedies of the early 80's."Truly, the ball of the wild"? Let the beast out (of your pants). Vinegar Syndrome's new release is about to go ape porn on your ass.

Synopsis from Vinegar Syndrome:

From director Carlos Tobalina comes one of the strangest hybrids of exploitation sub-genres ever released to the unsuspecting public. Combining the late 70s jungle movie craze with crime thriller and copious amounts of X rated action, JUNGLE BLUE tells the story of a group of sinister explorers hunting for fortune in the jungles of South America. Along the way they meet a tree-swinging wild man, his sex-crazed companion gorilla, and hoards of scantily clad natives.

So aside from some questionable acting and a not entirely believable ape suit, Jungle Blue ends up being a very entertaining romp through the woods filled with some excellent sex scenes that are filled with late 70's wholesome pubic mounds and untraditional ways of getting laid. Jungle Blue comes out during a tie when filmmakers still wanted to entertain with adult pictures and so you can be assured to at least have a followable narrative rather than an MTV porn reel. Carlos Tobalina has created many an adult picture since his first picture Infrasexum in 1969, but it seems with Jungle Blue he has created a balance that feels more organic truly embodying it's comedic roots along with it's spank material.  This is far from the cannibal gore feasts from Europe during the same period. This is lighthearted and zany even. Not quite Threes Company in the jungle, but it has some Suzanne Somers wannabes.

Jungle Blue has never been released in the US. It's uncut and restored form the original camera negatives. Perhaps the finest part of Jungle Blue is the exquisite flashy, multicolored logo complete with Gorilla and woman illustration busting out of the front cover. It's light on the extras but does come with a trailer.  It bares the hallmark of Vinegar Syndrome's smut in that it is a grimy mess of a thing with perfect scratches but well transferred print. No DNR here!

Sure you could just watch Jungle Blue to watch the apes go at it with insatiable women who need to take a walk on the wild side, but there's more to this picture than meets your fly. Perhaps considering watching it without the tissue box first. Then once you've appreciated the entire experience, bookmark your favorite scenes and go to town. Remember the state? The one with the kids all wanting to go to the zoo to watch the monkeys do it? Well, you should be ashamed of yourself. Go watch the gorillas make-a love.

You can order Jungle Blue now.
