NEW RELEASE UPDATE: The Human Race - Game Based Horror Releases Friday the 13th

Game horror is alive and well. There's been a surge in competitive based dark fantasy movies. Think Battle Royale of course, The Hunger Games and sequel, Raze, 13 Sins, Saw... any number of obscure titles that I'm simply not thinking of right now. While I can appreciate the "80 Start and Only 1 Can Finish" concept, I didn't see much in trailer to suggest that this puppy is going to break any ground.  It's been getting some positive spin from HorrorHound, and an unruly claim that this turns Game of Thrones on its ear.

It has one very strong thing in its corner, Xlrator. Not every movie from Xlrator wows me but more than do than don't. That means this has a shot at being pretty good. I suppose the trailer may be covering for a fucked up movie that might bury my moral sensibilities. We'd love reader feedback from those of you who watch it.

Releases this Friday. Full notes below.
