Uncanny Hitting DVD and Digital Video Novermber 3rd.

From the Director of Dead & Breakfast comes a new tale of Science Fiction, Uncanny. I like to think of movies like Uncanny as a modern day, modern day Prometheus ie Frankenstein. What happens when man plays God? What are the unintended consequences? While we've seen similar tales involving robotic creations with artificial intelligence, the romantic spin that seems very prevalent in the trailer may be the unique factor.

Give the trailer a watch and check Uncanny out on November 3rd either on DVD or digital video. Will let you know what I think after I get the chance to check it out.

From RLJ:

For ten years, inventor David Kressen has lived in seclusion with his inventions, including Adam, a robot with incredible lifelike human qualities. When reporter Joy Andrews is given access to their unconventional facility, she is alternately repelled and attracted to the scientist and his creation. But as Adam exhibits emergent behavior of anger and jealousy towards her, she finds herself increasingly entangled in a web of deception where no one’s motives are easily decipherable.
