THE WITCH (Lionsgate Blu-ray/DVD) - One, Two Black Phillip is Coming for You (to Home Video!)

The trailer for The Witch actually scared me when I went to see Green Inferno in the theater last year. I was ready for this movie, and then I got sick. I couldn't get to the theater to see it and now I'm the only Horror fan on the planet who has no idea who or what Black Phillip is. I know that all of the artwork and pins that have accompanied The Witch's onslaught on the Horrorverse have absolutely hyped this movie to oblivion for me. I am ready for The Witch, and you should be too.

Lionsgate has this one coming to Blu-ray/DVD and Digital HD on May 17th which is less than a month away. If you didn't get to see it yet, join me in becoming a better Horror fan. If you have seen it, there's a great chance that you'll want to own it and watch it again and again.

Your spirit animal is Black Phillip. See full release details below and the trailer if you haven no idea why you should be excited.

New England, 1630: William and Katherine lead a devout Christian life with their five children, homesteading on the edge of an impassible wilderness. When their newborn son mysteriously vanishes and their crops fail, the family begins to turn on one another. The Witch is a chilling portrait of a family unraveling within their own fears and anxieties, leaving them prey to an inescapable evil.

Featuring audio commentary with the director, a behind-the-scenes featurette and more, The Witch will be available on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD) and DVD (plus digital) for the suggested retail price of $24.99 and $19.98.
