Black Friday gaming PC deals 2023: discounts galore on RTX 40-series rigs

You can game on this machine to a certain extent—the integrated Vega GPU on the Ryzen chip will certainly support 720p gaming at lower settings. But we're listing it here as a good base from which to add your own graphics card for a quick, powerful new gaming PC. The AMD CPU is a good six-core, 12-thread job, and the 16GB RAM will run everything you need.

This is the best-value RTX 4060 gaming PC we've found this Black Friday season, in fact it's the best we've found all year. And it's from MSI. Go figure. Not normally known for its budget systems, this Aegis R has got a lot of PC inside it. For a start you'd normally be looking at DDR4 memory at this price, but the MSI has gone for the most latest RAM technology and paired it with a 1TB SSD. That Core i5 CPU is still a good gaming chip, and will happily keep an RTX 4060 fed with data.

If you don't want to get busy with a screwdriver, Ipason has another budget offering, this time with an RX 7600 GPU at its heart. That offers sometimes better than RTX 4060 gaming performance, and the full system comes with a solid back-up spec, too.

Think of the RTX 4070 as an RTX 3080 with benefits and you'll start to see that this is a great price for a new gaming PC, that probably would have been closer to $2,000 this time last year. Thankfully it's not, and this is a great low-price, high-performance gaming PC. The only thing that might cause you pause is that you won't be doing any CPU overclocking, as the option is locked. But for a resolutely gaming machine, it's still packs plenty of punch.

This PC is on the cheaper side for an RTX 4070 build, especially considering it also comes with a decent Core i7 CPU. Read our review for more info. This on-sale model does differ a little from the one we reviewed, however, in that it only comes with a 512GB SSD. That's pretty useless in 2023 and you'll need to buy a bigger capacity drive and add it in yourself almost immediately to properly gaming. Just note this deal is based on an 'estimated value' which is a bit high. Still a solid deal nonetheless.

This is the most affordable RTX 4070 Ti gaming PC we've found this Black Friday week, and it comes with a really solid, if last-gen, backup spec. The Core i5 12600K was our favourite 12th Gen gaming PC, and it will still deliver the goods today. The DDR4 memory spec is the only bit that is a little bit of a concern, but it has very little bearing on gaming performance, and a DDR4 memory upgrade would be relatively inexpensive down the line if you did feel it was holding you back.

You can score an RTX 4070 Ti for less than this, though usually with an older CPU than this. This Alienware delivers a rather modern package, with a Raptor Lake processor (13th Gen, not 14th Gen, but that's fine), a big enough boot drive at 1TB, and a 1000W PSU. It's also liquid cooled and comes with two sticks of DDR5 memory.

This Skytech Eclipse has an impressive spec sheet, with a powerful Core i7 13700F, 32GB of DDR5 and an RTX 4070 Ti bringing up the rear. Given that the RTX 4070 Ti alone can retail north of the $800 mark it's impressive to see it paired with genuine pedigree gaming hardware at this price level, and that AIO cooler and chunky 850W PSU means that all that power and heat should be handled with aplomb.

Another banger for Skytech, with almost the cheapest RTX 4080 gaming PC that I've ever seen. It's only just a shade below the $2,000 threshold, and may well go up after Black Friday, but for now it's a great price for a really well-specced gaming rig.

While this is has a two gen old Intel CPU here, that's AMD's most powerful gaming GPU in there. It may not be a consistent RTX 4080 competitor, but it'll get the job done at 4K. Pair that with a nice chunk of storage, and you've got a decent gaming PC for the price.

Alienware has ditched its iconic rounded look and is going for a more, well, Dell approach to its gaming PCs. They're black rectangles in the classic Dell style, but this system still comes in at a decent price, with some good components backing up that RTX 4080 GPU. It's not as cheap as the original RTX 4080 Alienware we had on this page, but that sold out. This one does come with a more powerful CPU and double the RAM capacity, at least.

This isn't the cheapest RTX 4080 PC going, but it is the most well-rounded. Not only do you score a fantastic, if a little overpriced, graphics card here, you get Intel's superb high-end Core i9 13900K, tons of speedy RAM, and a chunky 2TB SSD. The 360mm all-in-one cooler and 1000W PSU mean this is also a very upgradeable machine down the line, too.

This all-powerful, all-AMD machine is monster build for under the $3,000 limit. That 16-core, 32-thread Ryzen chip is a serious productivity chip, and one of the fastest gaming CPUs thanks to its 3D V-Cache tech. Oh, and the RX 7900 XTX is the first chiplet GPU, and a genuine rival for the RTX 4080 outside of ray tracing. Though it will be worth checking with iBuyPower if/when you're buying to ensure you're not getting the AMD-built version of the RX 7900 XTX. They look good, but we've had bad experiences with hot spots.

This PC comes with a surprisingly decent GPU for this little cash. AMD's RX 6700 XT is one of the few previous generation GPUs we'd still be happy to recommend, and when it's less than the price of an RTX 4060 we're definitely onboard. The CPU in this machine is a bit lacking, but shouldn't be too slow for 1080p gaming, and at least there's plenty of RAM and a decent sized SSD for game installs, too.

Yes, this six-core, 12-thread CPU is now two generations old but for the money, you really can't complain. Well, a bit more RAM would have been nice, but you're not going to get many gaming PCs with a RTX 4060 graphics card for £800. The PSU is only rated to 500W so if you're planning on using this as a base to upgrade in the future, you might need a better supply unit for a top-end GPU.

The six-core, 12-thread CPU may be last-gen, but this is still a lot of computer for the money. It's also about as cheap as you're going to find a well-specced RTX 4060 gaming PC going for right now. That hefty 32GB of RAM goes to make up for the fact it's DDR4, and you get a 1TB SSD to help keep everything rocking.

This AlphaSync gaming PC might be £200 more expensive than the above deal, but you're getting twice as much RAM and storage, plus a graphics card that's almost 25% faster than the RTX 4070, depending on the game. I'd like to see a better CPU than the six-core, 12-thread one used here, but the Ryzen 7 7600X is still a good gaming processor.

High-end gaming PCs sporting RTX 4080 graphics cards are normally very expensive, but this is by far the cheapest one I've seen in the UK. Sure, the CPU is now two generations old but it's more than good enough for any game. There's lots of RAM and storage, plus they're both packing speedy specifications. This is a lot of money to spend on a PC but you're getting a seriously powerful gaming system.
