Sharkansas Women’s Prison (Scream Factory Blu-ray) - OUT NOW!

I did not care for Sharkansas Women’s Prison. Yeah, it's got a great title. It sounds like something that should be so bad it's damn good, but it isn't good. It's just bad. It doesn't contain the same healthy dose of T and A that I look for a Wynorski picture. Even though it had Traci Lords, a strong genre actreess, I still couldn't get into it. Yes, I like her non-porn work. Unfortunately this was not her finest effort though if there was anything positive to say about the movie, it would be about her performance.

Scream Factory has released Sharkansas Women’s Prison on Blu-ray, and my guess is that quite a few of you will find sharks in Arkansas funny. When compared to the glut of shark related Horror that uses terrible effects and one liners to get their audience, this one just didn't pop.

From Scream Factory:

Just when you thought it was safe to swim in the Arkansas Bayou…
When a fracking mishap accidentally rips apart the earth's crust, the resulting hole opens up a gaping underground waterway leading to a vast and mysterious subterranean ocean somewhere deep below. Instantly, giant prehistoric sharks begin wending their way upward toward a murky bog in the heart of the Arkansas bayou. Unfortunately for a group of female prisoners on a work detail in the swamp, the deadly sharks attack without warning – pinning a hapless group of potential victims in a small deserted cabin in the heart of the wetlands. For these wayward women, death may be the only means of escape!

Get ready for a wild ride when Dominque Swain (Skin Traffik, Alpha Dog) and Traci Lords (Cry Baby, Not of this Earth) come face to face with the deadliest prehistoric man-eaters nature has ever spawned.
